Q: What device is the game compatible with?
iOS: 5.0 and higher

Q: Are there any differences from the Nintendo 3DS eShop version of LIBERATION MAIDEN?
While of course the iOS version supports features that are unique to the iOS Game Center, no other changes have been made to the content of the game. Otherwise, the game has been optimized for iOS platforms in terms of controls, graphics, and sound.
Q: How do I move/attack in the game?
A virtual circle pad for manuvering is located on the bottom left of the screen (or bottom right if the controls are set for left-handed). Touch targets on the screen and lift your finger to shoot.

"Strafing Mode" is also available, and can be switched from a button above the circle pad
Q: How do I switch from Right Handed mode to Left Handed mode?
There is an option to select your dominant hand in the Settings Menu, and controls will be optimized for that choice.
Q: Is there a way to play the game in full screen?
There is an option within the Settings Menu to switch between full screen mode and original aspect ratio mode.
Q: How do I unlock more weapons?
There are two weapons in the game. The primary weapon is available from the start. The second weapon is unlocked automatically at the beginning of Stage 2.
Q: Can I change the language of the voice audio or the text?
The game is only available in English across all of the territories it is released in, except for Japan, where it is only available in Japanese. You can adjust the voice volume from the Settings Menu.
Q: What can you do with the Game Center?
The game is compatible with the Leaderboard, Achievements, and Challenges functions in Game Center. However, Challenges are only available on iOS 6.0 or higher, and the Game Center functionality is not compatible with 4th generation iPod touch devices.
Q: Will the app be updated with any additional challenges or game content?
There are no plans at this time for additional content.

Q: Why doesn't my score appear on Game Center?
The Game Center score reflects only your Story Mode scores and does not apply to Stage Attack scores.
Q: My game froze after using the Challenge mode.
Please check the iOS version of your device. Some functionality may not function correctly on devices that are not running iOS 6.1 or later. Updating your device to the latest iOS software may remedy this problem.

Q: I downloaded iOS7 and the app is no longer working.
The transition to iOS7 seems to have affected the application’s stability for a small sampling of players. Please note however that the stability issues are currently not within LEVEL-5’s capacity to address, as they have arisen from the changes made to the Apple OS, especially as they pertain to Apple’s older devices. If an opportunity to fix outstanding issues should arise in the future, we will endeavor to take the necessary steps to do so. Please follow the steps below:

1.) If your application is crashing, it may help to restart your device. Many issues are corrected simply by taking this step.

2.) If the application is still crashing, uninstalling and then reinstalling the application* fixes the issue in nearly all cases.

*CAUTION: In taking this step, you will lose all save data/in-game progress and unfortunately, it cannot be restored. If you have made any in-app purchases of additional cases, after reinstalling the app, you can select “Restore Purchases” to reinstate all purchases you have made. However, we cannot guarantee or refund any lost data, so it is highly recommended that you use the iCloud or iTunes services to back-up your data before taking this step.
Q: I can't seem to figure out the correct answer.
Make sure you search all the clues in the crime scene closely by changing the perspective of the slider and the "room." The map can be rotated with a single finger, but different sections of a given map may be viewable by moving it around with two fingers. You may have missed something that can only be seen from a certain angle. Going through case files may also help as it is occasionally updated while you search for clues.

In-app purchase of additional cases are available from the "shop" on the title screen.

This application data is compressed to improve download speeds and will expand in size during installation. Please ensure that you have approximately 400MB of free space before downloading the application.

There are no plans at this time for additional cases beyond those that can be purchased in the game.
Q: Are there any plans to expand the "Layton Brothers" into a series on other platforms?
The game is also available on Android devices. There are no plans for distribution on other platforms at this time.
